USBCANFD series CAN FD interface card

CAN FD (CAN Flexible Data-rate), the latest upgrade of CAN bus, has a maximum data length of 64 bytes and a flexible data field baud rate up to 5 Mbps (8 Mbps for some devices in laboratory environments).

USBCANFD series product, a high-performance CAN FD interface card developed by Zhiyuan Electronics, integrates 1-8 CANFD interfaces, and supports ISO CAN FD and BoschCANFD. Each interface has an independent 2500VDC electrical isolation protection circuit to prevent the interface card from being damaged by ground circulation and enhance the system reliability in a harsh environment.

The PC is connected to the USBCANFD interface card through the USB 2.0 port, so that it can exchange data with the CAN(FD) network to form a CAN(FD)-bus control node. The USBCANFD interface card supports Windows and Linux operating systems, and comes standard with ZXDoc and ZCANPRO software. It also provides a secondary development library, so users can call library functions to develop software. It is a powerful tool for the development and data analysis of CAN(FD)-bus products.

USBCANFD-800U supports real-time reporting of bus utilization. After configuring ZXDoc/ZCANPRO software, users can read the bus load rate through the hardware device, accurately grasp the bus load information, and prevent abnormal intrusion.

Support high-speed CAN FD and CAN2.0A/B data communication simultaneously

USBCANFD supports the CAN FD standard of ISO/Bosch, and is compatible with CAN2.0A/B mode. The Baud rate in data domain can be configured up to 5Mbps, and the data length can be configured up to 64 bytes. The product can provide data load 40 times higher than CAN2.0A/B, as well as faster control and data channels for automotive electronics, rail transit, medical electronics, industrial automation, etc.

Up to 2500VDC signal isolation, preventing interface damage

1~2-channel CAN FD interfaces of USBCANFD interface card have 2500VDC electrical isolation, with static electricity levels of contact discharge ± 4KV and surge ± 1KV, and can effectively avoid backflow damage caused by different node ground potentials. It is especially suitable for testing electric vehicles and trains.
